Things really DO happen for a reason, and I believe there is a master plan in place for us all.... I was reminded of this when Ryan and Shamai told me about their destiny and undeniable love that they found within each other. Ryan was heading back to the Army and while he was in line at the airport, he noticed a beautiful blonde in front of him, and knew at that moment that he had to meet her...except he couldn't even open his mouth to talk to her because he was too nervous!....what he didn't know at the time is that this beautiful blonde would become his wife 6 months later. He also didn't know that she was boarding the same plane and was heading to the same exact location he was heading to: back to their Army base in Tennessee. There is no longer a need for words. The images speak so loudly yet in such a calming and safe way... Ryan's first look at Shamai as she was walking down the aisle

I have been so excited to post these images for my client, Tera & Jay!  I have been photographing their darling children since their son, Reese was born!  I just cannot believe how fast he is growing....AND they are both the CUTEST things EVER!!! We had a lot of fun playing, even though I swear I heard a rattlesnake!!! Here are just SOME of my favorites: Rece will surely break a few hearts along the way...

So... this was part 2 of Zach and Allison's engagement session. Their first session was done down on Balboa Island, and for their second shoot, they came to visit me in Claremont!!! They even flew in from the OC...that's one way to avoid the SoCal traffic!!! I am so excited for their fabulous wedding in August at Balboa Bay Club, so stay tuned! My favorites from the day....

Last night was my monthly PUG meeting and as always, we had a great time discussing business, PICtage, and getting our doses of inspiration! Joanne Distaso was our Studio Spotlight and she talked about how she started her career in photography one year ago...it has been so fun watching her business grow and I am so inspired by her drive and passion for  for photography.  She is also a very cool person and so easy to love!!!  Great job last night, Jo! We LOVE you!!!! If any photographers out there want to come check out our PUG, we love to meet new friends!  Please shoot me an email and let me know that you want to visit! Here is a shot of our group last night...don't we look fun?  And Laker's lost last night anyway...you know you should have been here hangin with the cool folk!
