My "Kid's Only" sessions are underway and I am having so much fun!  I chose to do my spring sessions in San Dimas because the setting is so pretty this time of year, and it just screams spring! J and S (sorry, I want to protect these sweet kiddo's as much as I can!) are longtime clients of mine.  I have been shooting them since they have been newborns and it has been so much fun watching them grow and being able to document that with my photography! Here are a few of my favorite images of the session: villa-37a_blog.jpg villa-23a_blog.jpg villa-19_blog.jpg villa-25_blog.jpg

Aron and I had such a blast in Vegas at WPPI. We were exhausted from absorbing so much information, but the networking and friends that we made along the way was absolutely priceless. I love this time of year when we get to go. It always brings new inspiration to carry throughout the year as I photograph amazing weddings and fun new children's shoots! I kinda blew it with taking pictures along the way....but only have a few to share! More next year! My darling husband, Aron! vegas_blog1.jpg My friends, Lauren Hillary and Sara France. By the way, their Super Swanky Soiree was sooo much fun! Thanks, girls! vegas_blog2.jpg One thing to remember in Vegas: don't get hypnotized! I thought it would be fun at the time, however, when I "woke up" I was exhausted and had to leave the BLU domain party because all I wanted to do was sleep! I guess I was flexing my muscles in this shot....yes, I am a little embarrassed!!! vegas_blog.jpg At [b]ecker's par-tay...always so much fun and fun to catch up! becker.jpg Can't wait until next year! Good times!

The day before leaving for WPPI, I had the pleasure of photographing my first wedding of '08. Although we were on "severe weather alert" with all of the torrential rains and hail storms, it did not seem to put a damper on Maria or David's spirits one bit...after all, they were marrying each other. The day that they have been waiting for. Nothing could wipe the beautiful smiles off of their faces! When a day such as this day goes so smoothly and without ANYTHING going wrong, and once you see these detail pictures, it will be evident that there was a wedding coordinator involved with this event! And not just ANY coordinator.....I always love working with Kary Heimbach of kary h events. She is so easy to work with and everyone loves her! She puts 150% of her heart and soul into her job, and it shows! It cannot go without mentioning the great group of vendors who also made this event so beautiful: Video- Jennifer Anne Video Florist- Sonny Alexander Flowers DJ/lighting- Pro Audio DJ & Lighting Make-up- Coutney Corvan Hair- Hair Comes the Bride Transportation- Global Limousines Linens- Elegant Designs Specialty Linens Stationary- Cloud Nine Paper Lounge Furniture- Classic Party Rentals I love this shot. Maria was enjoying having her make-up done while her sisters were stirring about in the background getting dressed! blog_1.jpg blog_3.jpg This little guy had a big role...and he knew it! blog_2.jpg the happy couple! blog_4.jpg Here is the beautiful room at Alta Dena Town and Country Club. It's got such great ambiance. blog_5.jpg There is something so serene and beautiful about this moment. This happened right after Kary brought them into the reception room to take a sneak peek at how beautiful everything looked. They were so overjoyed with the decor, i think David was actually pinching Maria in this shot!!! blog_10.jpg The little details that mean so much: blog_6.jpg blog_7.jpg blog_8.jpg blog_9.jpg

This past weekend, I made a trip down to San Diego to meet my clients, Ryan and Ginni, to do their engagement pictures.  They are getting married this summer up in Sacramento in the area that Ginni grew up in.  Ginni's family owns apple orchards up there and their theme for the wedding kind of centers around this...think BRIGHT colors and having fun in apple orchards with old machinery...Stay tuned!  It's going to be AWESOME!!! Until then, I hope you enjoy the great shots we got. I had so much fun with them, and I can't wait until their wedding! blog_17.jpg blog_11.jpg blog_16.jpg blog_14.jpg Then off to the beach.... blog_12.jpg blog_13.jpg Thanks, Ryan and Ginni!  It was so much fun hanging out with you guys!
