This past weekend I was photographing really tasteful and intimate (and sexy!!) portraits of some of my current, past, and (hopefully!) future clients who wanted something really special for their husband (boyfriend or fiance!) for Valentine's Day! We had such a  blast!  In respect to my client's privacy and out of respect for those of you who  do not care to see this style of photography, I am only going to post this one image...however...I will soon (in the next day or two) have a private link for those of you who may be interested in doing this for your honey.  I am currently taking appointments for this weekend!  Please email me if you are interested!  I would be happy to send over all of the great details!!!

Yesterday I had the pleasure of shooting Allison and Zach's engagement session...it was so much fun to get meet Zach and get to know them a little bit more! They have a fabulous wedding planned at The Balboa Bay Club this summer!  Stay tuned for part 2 of their e-session.  We are shooting part two in a couple of weeks at a local airport with Zach's plane! Friends are so important in my life...sometimes when I am feeling overwhelmed, it is nice to unwind with friends. Luckily, we have very good friends who live in our neighborhood, and it's very common for us to grab a babysitter to watch our kids (they love it!) and go downtown to our new favorite place, Casa 425 in downtown Claremont. It is such a great little boutique hotel to just hang out and relax! Aron, me, Kary and Tim This weekend I am doing some very sexy and fun boudoir shoots there...think Maxim. It's my Valentine's Day promotion!  It's not too late...I am taking appointments for next weekend, too!  Call me!  It's very classy (yet sexy) and soooo much fun!  I encouraged my clients who were interested to get some friends together to cheer each other on!  Even better, you already know me as your photographer, and this is another chance for us to hang out (NOT literally!!!) and have fun!!! Think:  Champagne w/ fresh rasberries, chocolate dipped strawberries, brie and crackers, more champagne...itunes.... lots of laughs...I can't wait to hear how their husbands or fiances LOVE their Valentine's gifts!!! Last night I had my monthly PUG and had the incredible opportunity to have Robert Evans come and speak to our group about getting more time with the bride and groom before the ceremony and how to build a great relationship with them. He spoke about this same topic at Partner-Con in September which got rave revieiws. I had not yet heard him speak and it was great to have him in a smaller group setting & to hear how he evolved into the photographer that he is today! Thanks, Robert, for taking the time to speak at my PUG! You were awesome! I wanted to share a really cool texture that I applied to one of my images.  It's fun to add a little texture to an image to make it more interesting, and just adding a few of these in an album design would look really amazing I think! What do you think? Before: After my Urban Texture:
