It's always a nice perk when your clients want to fly you somewhere to do a wedding or an engagement session! It's even a nicer perk when you get to fly in their private plane!
No lines, no baggage search, and no taking your shoes off to walk under the metal detector...I simply pulled up to the Executive Center, walked in to find Erin and Ryan sitting there chatting with their pilot, Mike. I was a little late because I got a ticket for running a red (YELLOW) light! it really was yellow, though.
We immediately jumped on the plane and headed off to beautiful Napa for an afternoon shoot.

Within an hour and 1/2 we had landed and got on the road in search of some amazing wineries.

Erin Pattison:

Julie... I love them! We had so much fun this day. The lighting came out better than I could have ever imagined. I would be so happy with just these picture but I cannot wait to see the rest. I love the ring picture on the grapes. The only thing we could have done to make the day better was drink some more wine! I love love love them. Thanks Julie!

I got lucky last night....lucky in the sense that Sri, one of my best friends in the whole wide world, invited me to the police concert.....her husband is on a business trip and he bought her these tickets so she would have something fun to do while he was gone...a girl's night out. Nice husband!!! I was floored when she asked me to go, and I immediately said "OMG...YES!!!!"
Then I found out where we were sitting...5th row, CENTER!!! HOLY ****!!!! I was ecstatic...
I thought it was so great to finally have some girl time with Sri...just the two of us...just like the good ol' days in high school. We have been friends for 25 years (O.K...THAT makes me feel ancient!). We have been through so much together and with both of us having busy lives and a young family, it is next to impossible for us to have some good, quality time, the kind of quality time two old girls need! What better way to spend our night than to reminisce at THE POLICE CONCERT!!!!

Here are some fun shots I got on my little point and shoot and some video footage, too! But let me warn you, the video might be a little shaky...I tried my best!

This was such an amazing performance. We were literally in awe watching Sting...and his wife was right in the same area as we were! How cool is that? Once people stood up and starting dancing around, we were in the aisle and actually moved our way to the front row. I have never been that close at a concert, so I felt like it wasn't actually taking place...very surreal!
Thank you Lance, for giving us our girls night out!!! Sri, I love you! Thanks for including me!

As I was sitting at my office computer yesterday, waiting for my next photo shoot, I looked out my window to see a beautiful little girl full of curls bouncing up my long walkway with her gorgeous mom to meet me for their long awaited photo shoot with her two equally beautiful cousins.

Meet Lyric... A playful little girl who loves her cousins and has a very spunky and fun attitude, all at the big age of 2!

This past Sunday I was a part of the exclusive Wedding Studio bridal show that was held at the beautiful Balboa Bay Club in Newport Beach.

My first show...and I had a blast! Lots of awesome vendors and potential clients!
The very organized Wendy Dahl from Dahl Wedding Company coordinated this event. Thank you, Wendy, for a flawless show!!! You worked so hard on this!!!
I also have to give a shout out to Rrivre. Rrivre from Rrivre Works provided all of the design for this show, and it was unbelievably cool.
Good job, Rrivre, and thanks again for all of your hard work on this!

I look forward to hearing from those of you who I had the pleasure of meeting!!!

Here is a quick shot of my booth that I took on my little point & shoot.

And here are my friends Katie Clark and Stephanie Kennedy. Katie is a fellow photographer and Stephanie owns Stephanie James Couture.

WOW! I cannot believe I haven't posted in almost 2 weeks.
Things have been so busy around here, and I have been busy with consultations and the fabulous Wedding Studio bridal show that I was involved in with
the exclusive Ceremony Magazine (more of that to come!)...
I apologize for my slacking.
I will be blogging lots of exciting stuff, so stay tuned!

Here are some images that I love from peter and amber's engagement session in Santa Monica. They are getting married this September and I look forward to their big day!
They are a lot of fun, and I am so happy to have learned more about them! They are so adorable together!!!
