So often I am asked to bring my camera along to outings or events with friends to capture the moments of fun, and i am always happy to. I think it is when I unexpectantly bring it along when I feel that creative freedom to do what I want... Yesterday my family and our good friends, The Duque's, headed to our annual beach day to San Clemente to just relax and enjoy the day. Although I worked 14 hours the day before (and was EXHAUSTED), I grabbed my camera at the last minute as I was running out the door. I didn't shoot much, but when I did, it was so much fun! It happened to be San Clemente's Annual Ocean Festival, so we had a blast watching all of the sand creations being built, surf competitions, and walking around. The pier had a Vintage Woody Car show on it and a really nice man offered his car for me to shoot a few frames of Tristan: Katie: 11 going on 20.... RJ, Cole, & Katie...fishing on the pier: I have been so bummed that we are not going on our family vacation this year, so it was really nice to be able to take this time to enjoy the day with my family. It is times like these that I am humbly reminded of how precious these moments are and how lucky we are to have the family and friends that we have!

Should I or shouldn't I take the camera? I ask myself the same question running out the door. Fun post.

what can i say....look at these beautiful images captured for the Giuliano family....kik, vince, christopher, joey, and graciella.  Love their ability to just be themselves and have fun in front of the camera.  I hope you enjoy these images as much as I have! this is one of those blessed mistakes when you are testing out your settings...honestly, this image happened purely by mistake and I absolutely LOVE it...might be one of my fav's:

Wow...when I sat down to write this post, I am blown away by the amount of thankfulness I feel. I am thankful for the life I have...my family because they keep me grounded and real, my friends for their encouragement and continuous support, my health, my faith, and my clients...without my clients, I would not be living my dream profession...I love my job and the lives that I touch. I couldn't ask for anything better. A friend of mine sent me an email this morning about a daughter going away to school and saying goodbye to her mother at the airport..."I love you and wish you enough" When she said , 'I wish you enough', she wanted her mom to have a life filled with just enough good things to sustain her. So today, I wish all of you enough. To never want too much. Enough to be content and happy with the blessings in your life! Life.Is.Good. Really.Good. Thank you to everyone that is a part of my life. This is a picture of my sister, Barbara, with my son Cole! dsc00620_blog.jpg

If you have been following my blog, you might remember me talking about (and seeing pictures) of one of my very best friends ever, sri....been friends now for 25 years or so....went to The Police concert together (on the blog)...anyway, I had so much fun taking pictures of her family this past weekend! I have been dying to post these, and have been so busy now that I am full-fledged into the portrait season!!!
