It's not too often when I'm in the middle of a family shoot and I suddenly am stopped by a car full of teenage boys hanging out their car yelling to my client, "DUDE....your wife is HOT"!!!!!
Boy, my client's wife was beaming from ear to ear with giddiness!!!  It just added to our fun-filled shoot, and there's nothing better than to see your clients have a blast with each other! 

Needless to say, they are in love with their images, and I think they even love each other a little bit more after seeing these and realizing how beautiful each one of them is and how blessed they are to have each other!!!  This family has a very special place in my heart...it has been my pleasure to capture the love and happiness they possess!!!

Janelle...Janie as we call her:  a sassy petite little thing that will light up a room with her infectious  laugh.  Famous words:  "ohhhh, that's funny"!  Always a good time!
Ryan...the guy that everyone loves....enough said!
Meagan...Miss Megs...a force to be reckoned with...Intelligent beyond her years, this mighty 13 year old has the biggest heart ever and is seriously the sweetest girl... always welcoming her family and friends with open arms!
Ethan...  "e" as we call him...extremely polite, kind, and if you've ever seen him play ball......he's all boy.

Well, it has now been one week since our Get Tha Funk Out Workshop and I must say that I haven't quite come down from the emotional high that I experienced.  Each and every one of these ladies brought something else to this weekend and I think I can speak for everyone when I say that we were all greatly moved. 

So I am extending a HUGE thank you to all of our wonderful sponsors as well as attendees who made this weekend amazing. I also cannot leave out a personal thank you to Joanne's mom and dad who worked so hard at helping to organize all the meals and so much more.  Patrice's mom also came and helped....so thank you...EVERYONE!

I can really not believe that this workshop is finally here!  A year in the making....wow.  It's going to be AH.MAZE.ING!!!!

3 full days of all inclusive inspiration and fun...I can't spill what these women are going to walk away with, but my hope is that they will be changed and inspired to take their business to the next level!

So along with the other 23 photographers that have travelled from all over the United States, we will have our "OUT OF OFFICE" sign up this weekend and we will be kickin' it in Newport...listening to the waves crash as we get inspired and learn!

Let's get this party started!!!!

When I was growing up, I always heard the phrase "California Girl"...ya know, the Christie Brinkley's of the world:  blonde hair, blue eyes, big beautiful smile?
Although I believe we cannot any longer describe a California Girl, I have to admit that my client Carlee brought me back to thinking about The California Girl!  This beautiful high school senior really is the epitome of darling....and after I spent time with her, I was blown away at her huge heart and successes she has already accomplished!

Miss Carlee is the cheer captain of her cheer squad, ASB director of activities, and a member of Make a Difference Club and Young Life.  Did I mention she is also on the honor role???!!!

Carlee loves the beach, her family, friends, and summertime!

Her compassion and sweet demeanor sure came through in her senior shoot!

Carlee, best of luck to you as you enter your senior year!
